The Task Force is represented by Command Officers (CO) and Area Coordinators (AC) covering
6 San Diego County Areas: North Coastal North Inland North Central Central East South
COs and ACs function as a liaison between all facilities and the task force – sharing research information, needs, and questions – for evaluation and resolution. This helps to build relationships, educate, and problem solve PROACTIVE BEFORE a disaster strikes.
COs and ACs have combined experience, continuous training and participation in: National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS) Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Local & State-wide drills Monthly Task Force meetings Quarterly Lunch & Learn meetings Community Outreach Events
